About Me
Rachel Hamilton
Certified Personal Trainer, (NASM) National Academy of Sports Medicine and The Academy of Holistic Fitness
Learning my way around a gym became a habit when I was 18/19 in college... while studying theatrical design! I found that I enjoyed testing my body's strength and mastering different exercises, and also that working physically made me feel better mentally. After graduating in 2009 with my B. A. in Theatre and Performance Studies, plus all these years since, it remains that way still; I use exercise in my personal time and it is terrific therapy whether I am angry, stressed, depressed, or bouncing off the walls. I believe it works that way for a lot of people and I hope everyone is able to explore that for themselves.
I am originally from Atlanta, GA but I have lived around the country from California to Florida. After developing my own workouts over the years, taking habitual yoga classes, and being part of a crossfit gym for over 3 years, I decided to earn my CPT from NASM in 2019 so I could officially begin putting my passion for fitness to work for others. I have also been with Motivera in Elkhorn, NE since 2019 working with young athletes, adult strength classes, and one-on-one clients. I want my clients to start from whatever fitness level they are at, whether that means running a mile would be out of the question or that they participate in marathons regularly. It doesn't matter where you're starting from, JUST THAT YOU START! Everyone deserves to love the way they look and feel, and the journey to get there makes us even stronger.
